WAG Deal's 8/31/2008

I got a few things from work last night that I had wanted to get that was in this weeks sale. It wasn't much but there were somethings that were on my winter stockpile list that I wanted.

• 2 tubes of Shea Butter Patrolium Jelly 2/$3, 2/$2.40 with my discount
• 1 box of 120 count Alcohol Swabs 2/$3, $1.20 with my discount
• 2 packs of 100 yard Floss 2/$1.99, 2/$1.59 with my discount
• 2 bottles of 1.25 liter Mouth Wash 2/$3.49, 2/$2.63 with my discount
• 2 Resses Candy Bars 2/$2, 2/$1.68 with my discount
• 1 Nail Polish $1.99, $1.69 with my discount
• 2 boxes of 40 count security envelopes 2/$0.99, 2/$0.84 with my discount.
• 1 Sunday Paper $1.50, $1.06 with my discount.

The candy bars were new so I wanted to get them for DBF & I to try. And I didn't need the nail polish but it was a new color and I loved it so much I didn't care..lol

• Total OOP $13.42 ($0.31 sales tax)
• Total Discount: $3.05
• WAG Coupon Savings: $0.84
• WAG Advertised Savings: $9.06
• Total Savings: $10.44

Everything I got was pretty much the Walgreens brand items. Which we had a huge sale on most of it for B1G1F. I thought I did pretty well considering most of it really doesn't go on sale for that cheap in the name brand items and since all employees get a 20% discount on all Walgreen Brand items instead of the standard 15% I thought it was an even better deal to not pass off.

I have a few other things I need to get today that I figured out that I didn't want to get last night. I'll post those tonight after work when I get them. But for now, time to get ready. I hope it's not really busy even though it's a holiday. I hope people stay at home and spend time with there families and not all there time at Walgreens :D
